brother, is a self-contained multi-pump rifle. It is also
available in .22,.25 & .30 caliber with prices starting at
$1895.00. Robert, the owner of AoA, showed off their
new Omega compressor for PCP shooters. It is a marvel of
engineering in that it is a 4500psi compressor that will fully
charge a scuba tank in a few hours. It is water & air cooled,
quiet and at 78 pounds – portable. As long as you have a 110V
power source wherever you shoot, you could top off a 300cc
cylinder in just minutes. Retail MSRP is $1795.00. Head

BenelliUSA/Stoeger Airguns
– Stoeger, a member of
the Benelli/Beretta family, has recently released .25 caliber
versions of their magnum class X-50 break-barrel air rifle.
This is a synthetic stocked air rifle only available in black as
Stoeger has dropped the camouflaged synthetic stocks. Prices
start at $270.00. They also are one of the few companies
to produce true youth air rifles with hardwood stocks and
a cocking force of 16 pounds. Stoeger also offers their own
line of pellets to pair with their guns. All Stoeger airguns
come with a 2 year limited warranty which is twice as long
as some manufacturers provide. Contact them at: www.usa.

Crosman Corporation
– As one of the big players in the
airgun space, (the popular Model 760 has sold over 16 million
units) Crosman is driven to innovate and come to the market
with something new every year. This year was no exception as
Laura, their Director of Marketing, led Tim and me through
their new offerings. First, Crosman has improved their
Benjamin Nitro Piston powerplant and branded it as the NP2.
The NP2 has a larger diameter tube and new internals that
make it quieter, easier to cock, reduces vibration and provides
up to 15% more velocity. Crosman engineers also discovered
that reversed orientation of the piston, along with their new
Recoil Arrest Technology produced less friction and extended
the life of the gas ram and its parts. Reportedly there is
almost a 10 pound reduction in cocking effort. The NP2 will
be introduced in the Trail Series rifles initially along with a
newly enhanced 2-stage “Clean Break Trigger” in .177 and .22.
MSRP starts at $350.00. The Marauder PCP is now available
in a more ergonomic ambidextrous wooden-stocked version
with match grade trigger. It comes in .22 and .25 and retails
for $700.00. Also introduced was a semi-auto BB repeater,
the “Comrade”, patterned after an AK-47. It has a removable
synthetic stock, runs on one CO2 cartridge and sells for
$99.00. I mentioned the Model 760 earlier and for 2014 it
will have a longer cocking handle for reduced cocking effort
and retail for $50.00.
